Review

Patrick Wilson is predictably subtle in Neil LaBute’s latest drama, about the tension that arises when a mixed-race couple (Wilson and Kerry Washington) moves in next door to a volatile black man (Samuel L. Jackson). If they’d only gone with an actor we weren’t already so accustomed to seeing all veins athrob and eyes aglow, the tension—and its implications—would have been considerably more fierce.
