Lilly Rivera, an aesthetician with 27 years of experience, gears her clinical facials ($175), microdermabrasion ($200), and skin tightening ($300) toward brides-to-be with problem skin. Basic bridal packages start at $550, which include an on-location trial run, facial, and airbrush-makeup application.

Butterfly Studio

This Gramercy Park salon specializes in black-tie glamour, offering full in-salon services from $150 and on-location styling for the bridal party from $1,500. Veteran makeup artist Francesca Roman’s hand-applied makeup lasts eight to ten hours with touch-ups, and airbrushed makeup lasts ten to twelve hours.

Specializing in the natural look for brides, Raychel Wade started her career serving as the makeover pro for Nars and Bobbi Brown. These days, she works closely with brides on what she calls “You on Your Best Day” ($350 for brides; $150 per person for the bridal party). She also offers application lessons ($175) for destination-wedding brides.

This Georgia native has been exploring makeup since she was a little girl. Burran readies the bride-to-be by performing an aromatherapy face massage and smoothing oil onto her wrists for balance. Trial and consultation is $250, the bride’s makeup application is $500, and the cost is $250 for two bridal members.

Put your best face forward by having your makeup done by this Bobbi Brown–trained team. For $250 to $350, they’ll ensure that you’re smudgeproof and photo-ready for the duration of your wedding; they also offer eyelash extensions, spray tans, and body scrubs. Consultations are $125 (part of which goes toward the final cost), and for bridal-party members, $150 each.

Dominique Salon

The Paris-trained Dominique de Anfrasio specializes in European styling. His salon has a Bridal Package ($500) that allows you to schedule as many people (who fit in three hours) for his signature hairstyling. The same goes for makeup, which includes cleansing, toning, and mosturizing. With just the bride it’s $300 for each.

Eve Pearl

Pearl got her start in makeup at the New York City Opera. She specializes in older women, women of color, and women with “problem” skin (acne scars, rosacea). A trial is $250 for a 90-minute appointment, while $1,000 buys you on-site wedding-day makeup for three people. For $250 per person, Pearl can do the rest of the bridal party, spending 45 minutes on each person.

Francesca Maniace

Maniace is committed to clean, precise looks that won’t go out of style. With a background in fine arts and photography, she understands what a face needs to be camera-ready, and her airbrush tool makes sure that the makeup stays in place all day. A trial is $150, wedding-day application is $225, and the bridal party starts at $100 a person.

James Boehmer

Nars artist Boehmer began his career in indie film and theater before graduating to cover shoots, runways, and weddings. Although high-fashion looks are his specialty, he’s equally skilled at more low-key jobs. He can use an airbrush to make you tanner ($300 per person). Consultations start from $200.

Having spent two decades producing international beauty pageants, Harth uses her skillful airbrush technique to transform a beleaguered complexion into a flawless face. A two-hour trial application is $150, wedding-day rates are $495 for the bride, and each additional guest is $125.

Keri Berman

Berman, a celebrity favorite, is known for both her friendly professionalism and her top-notch contouring and highlighting. Consultations are $250. Wedding makeup application for the bride and one other person is $1,000; each additional person is $200.

Kimara Ahnert Makeup and Skincare Studio

Ahnert’s luxe studio is perennially booked, so plan on making your appointment as early as possible. The studio’s on-location work—for which there is a three-person minimum—starts at $1,000, but other staff members will do your face for $700 and up. Trials are $185 with Ahnert, $125 with a staff member.

This experienced pro has a long résumé of photo shoots and celebrity clients. Her focus is on flawless, luminous skin. Do likes to do trials three to six months in advance ($250), and will travel anywhere to beautify you on the day-of ($425 plus traveling fee).

Lea Siegel

If you want to look like model brides photographed for wedding magazines, Siegel is the makeup artist to call, as she works with virtually every big bridal publication. In a consultation session, she will discuss how she plans to craft your look so that it lasts for hours and photographs well. Prices start at $300.

Lori Hamlin

Working out of her Soho studio, Hamlin applies more than 120 synthetic lashes one by one ($750 for the first application; $250 for the re-lash). Her assistant charges $500 for extensions, $175 for the touch-up, and $75 for highlights. For weddings, she charges $1,200 for half a day and $2,500 for a full day—trials start at $250.

After ten years of experience with the likes of Lancôme and Laura Geller, Anabelle’s clients get most excited about how she does their eye contouring (the secret is with individual lash applications) while maintaining a calm serenity in the midst of overwhelming nuptial chaos. Wedding consultations are $100 per person; day-of starts at $100 .

Marina Kanes

Having worked at Estée Lauder, Christian Dior, and L’Oréal, Kanes knows her products and how to use them. Kanes is available all day for the wedding, but she also provides the bride with a survival package: lipstick, blotting paper, and a touch-up kit. Consultations start at $75; makeup starts at $175.

Matthew Nigara

Although Nigara is primarily a runway makeup artist, he still finds time for wedding work. Bring your dress and a digital camera to a consultation ($300). If it’s a big wedding party, he’ll show up with two assistants (bride plus one person, $1,000; $150 each extra guest). Nigara will stay the whole day for $1,750.

Meredith Carre

This certified aesthetician got her start at Estée Lauder, and she’s happy to help brides with a skin-clearing treatment or waxing regiment, and her light application keeps skin from feeling layered with makeup. Trials cost $50. She will travel anywhere for on-site applications and touch-ups ($225 for the bride, $125 for each bridesmaid).

Piera Canu

Known for bringing light into her clients’ faces with a soft and natural base, this Italian makeup artist has worked with top fashion magazines like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Elle. Canu recently relocated to New York, and now she’s focusing in on bridal work. Packages start from $800, which include you plus two of your bridal entourage.

Robin Narvaez at Salon Eliut Rivera

For the control-seeking bride, Robin Narvaez is the perfect safety net. During the mandatory wedding trial ($160), brides learn to apply their own makeup, receive personalized shopping lists, and have their brows expertly plucked. You’ll look great the day of the wedding when Naravez applies on-site ($200 per hour).

Sally Duvall

Duvall is known for crafting natural yet glamorous looks using minimal makeup. As the former assistant to the late Kevyn Aucoin, Duvall has worked with a number of celebrities on print covers and in spreads. Rates are $100 for a half-hour, $225 for one hour, and $1,200 for a full eight-hour day.

Sandy Linter at Rita Hazan

Discovered by Vogue in the mid-seventies, Linter has maintained her high-reaching reputation in this city—she has worked on celebrities like Jackie O. and Barbara Walters. After a $250 consultation to make sure everything is ready for the big day, she charges $500 for the initial session and $250 per hour thereafter.

This freelancer and Trish McEvoy makeup artist has perfected the art of bridal makeup, having worked as a magazine stylist over the past two years. To get that camera-ready bridal magazine look, Eriksson charges $300 per hour and will travel anywhere within the United States (and has gone as far as Mexico).

Stephanie Barr

One of New York’s airbrush-technique pioneers, Barr brings out her clients’ individual good looks. Brides can expect dewy complexions, and she’ll travel for on-site applications. Consultations are $250; combination airbrush and traditional applications is $400 for the bride, and $125 for each additional person.
